Details
The Aymara Kids Blanket New Squares is a soft alpaca wool blanket designed for children's spaces, nurseries, and everyday comfort. Made from 100% undyed alpaca wool, the blanket uses the natural tones of the fiber rather than relying on a dyeing process. Designed by Herman Studio, the Aymara textile collection is inspired by Bolivia's long tradition of alpaca craftsmanship and interpreted through a Nordic design perspective. The result is a textile with a simple graphic expression, soft natural colors, and a focus on material quality. Unlike many traditional interior textiles, the blanket is knitted like a cozy sweater rather than woven. Its smaller 70 x 100 cm size makes it suitable for kids' rooms, layering, travel, or keeping close at hand for added warmth and comfort.

Brand
Form + Refine
Form & Refine was founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen– based on the common vision of creating a value-driven design brand that explores materials and preserves our earth and craft cultures through an exceptional design philosophy. They also believe in making a positive social impact and preserving crafts by working with cooperatives and smaller workshops to create fair and respectful partnerships. Among others, they support a cooperative of alpaca farmers in the highlands of Bolivia through the art of weaving and ancient wisdom.
