Details
The Beam Shelf 3, Deep Brown Pine is a durable wooden wall shelf designed for storage and display in living spaces, dining rooms, entryways, and home offices. Made from FSC®-certified solid Bosnian pine, the shelf has a practical depth that makes it useful for books, objects, storage boxes, and everyday essentials. Designed by Herman Studio, the Beam collection takes inspiration from architecture and construction. Its distinctive H-shaped side frames carry the shelves and highlight the grain of the pinewood, while rounded details soften the solid construction and give the piece a refined, practical character. The shelf is finished in a deep brown matt lacquer for additional protection and ships unassembled in five pieces. Form & Refine notes that the Ordinary Storage Box fits neatly into the Beam Shelf, making it especially helpful where open shelving needs to remain organized.

Brand
Form + Refine
Form & Refine was founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen– based on the common vision of creating a value-driven design brand that explores materials and preserves our earth and craft cultures through an exceptional design philosophy. They also believe in making a positive social impact and preserving crafts by working with cooperatives and smaller workshops to create fair and respectful partnerships. Among others, they support a cooperative of alpaca farmers in the highlands of Bolivia through the art of weaving and ancient wisdom.
